Round One

• The team must submit an outline of an innovative business idea that addresses the existing market needs or explores the new market niche. The business idea can be based on a product or a service or anything that create income or value. The idea will be judged based on the originality of the idea, a creative approach in the business strategy, commercial viability and prospect of growth.
• Business ideas in Round One must be submitted online via this official website, www.asiayea.com
• It should be written in English only and be of at least 1,000 words.
• Deadline for submission is 5 December 2006.
• Up to 30 teams will be short-listed for Round Two.

Round Two

• Teams short-listed for Round Two will be invited to attend a business plan writing workshop on 14 February 2007
• Teams will be required to submit a full business plan, which is an expansion of their ideas in Round 1.
• Business plans submitted must not exceed 10 pages (A4 size, standard font is MS Word, Times New Roman, size 12) excluding appendices (e.g. charts, tables, diagrams and spreadsheets) and written in English only.
• Deadline for submission is 16 March 2007 before 5 p.m.
• Please send 12 copies of your team's business plan to the following address:

• Only 5 teams will be short-listed for Round Three

Round Three.
