• Malaysian citizens who are full time students from local public/private universities/colleges and aged 25 or below as at 31 March 2007 are eligible to enter but must compete in teams of 2 or 3 people
• It is permissible for each team to have one non-Malaysian citizen member
• Team members may be from the same or different faculties/colleges/universities
• All participants must be present and available in Malaysia throughout the duration of the competition
• A participant cannot be a member of more than one team
• Each team is allowed to submit one business idea only
• All submissions must be in English language

Participation from the following will not be accepted:

• Post-graduate students
• Self-study students
• Students studying abroad
• Individual (i.e. not in a team of 2 or 3)
