in the business world.
Outstanding performers will be rewarded and honoured
with prestigious awards and attractive prizes.

Answers: The
emphasis is on the development of a business idea that
will lead to the creation of a successful business
venture or company.

creates income or value.
The idea may address the existing market demand or
explore the new market niche.
The business idea must be commercially viable with a
prospect of growth.

(e.g. postage cost of your entry).

5. Will I receive any funds or subsidies from HSBC
Bank Malaysia Berhad to realise my business idea?
Answers: There will

institution based in Malaysia.

7. Can I change team members or the content of our

you have submitted your proposal (business idea), no
changes to its content or change in team members will be
accepted.

8. Are there any financial or geographical
restrictions to my team's business proposal?
Answers: Your
business proposal (business idea) can cost as much as
your team likes but you must demonstrate that it is
commercially viable and feasible (e.g. your business can
generate enough revenue to cover the cost).
There are no geographical limits. Your team's proposed
business can take place anywhere in the world.

9. If my team is selected, is it compulsory for us to
attend the business plan workshop?
Answers: No, it is

information given during the workshop such as business
plan format and judging criteria.
Also, the training provided is valuable, as it will help
equip you for your future undertakings.

10. The rules specify that the Organiser shall own
the copyrights of all the entries submitted. Can my team
make use of our own business idea/s after the
competition?
Answers: The
Organiser needs to have the copyrights of your team's
work for publicity purposes, to let it be publicised in
newspapers, magazines and television programmes.
Your team is free to make use of your own business
