Some 198 KUTPM Bachelor students and 15 KUTPM Diploma students received the President's List award at KUTPM President's List Award Presentation held on the September 11, 2004 at KUTPM temporary campus in Section 13, Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The President's List certificate is awarded to students who successfully achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.5 and above in the current semester. Of the 213 students, 7 students had successfully achieved GPA 3.5 and above for 3 consecutive semesters. They were also awarded with cash prize of RM 300 each. The successful students are:

This auspicious event was officiated by Y. Bhg. Prof. Dato' Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid President KUTPM. The event was also attended by KUTPM Deans and Management Team.
