About The Scholarship

Taylor’s University has introduced the Bumiputera Study Grant (BSG) in year 2006 that was created to exclusively benefit bumiputera** students by offering financial assistance in the form of fixed tuition fee waiver for selected courses at Taylor’s. To date, thousands of bumiputera students have benefited from it and have since joined the ranks of elite group of Taylor’s students and graduates.

The Taylor’s Bumiputera Study Grant is now offered for the 2012 intakes.

Value of award

  • RM3500 tuition fee waiver per year and get 0% Interest
  • Study Loan* only at Taylor's University.

Terms and conditions

  •     Student must obtain minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year
  •     Not applicable for any Top Up Programmes & English Programmes
  •     To complete programme(s) at Taylor’s University, Malaysia
  •     Bumiputera Malaysian Citizen as defined by:
    1.  A Malay as defined in Article 160 (2) of the Federal Constitution;
    2. a native of Sabah as defined in Article 161A(6)(a)of the Federal Constitution;
    3. a native of Sarawak as defined in Article 161 (6)(b) of the Federal Constitution;
    4. an aborigine as defined in the Aboriginal People’s Act 1954; and 
    5. such other persons who are as such designated by the appropriate authorities and deem relevant by [Taylor's].
